A variation of Build:Berserker_-_Longbow_Berserker originating on the Chinese GW2 servers that trades maximum potential damage for consistency and better ranged spike in large scale fights. enables as a ranged spike tool and makes adrenaline management very easy. Falls behind the traditional build in high melee uptime situations but excels at range.

Detailed Explanations

Battle Standard

  • Prioritize on clumps of 2+ downed enemies
    • only finishes enemies in 180 radius, the smallest circle in its targeting reticle
  • Since also rezzes allies in 360 radius, use it on groups of 3+ allies if you have the skill ready

Damage

  • Before fights start cycle through to prebuff
    • Make sure both are off cooldown and ready before the fight starts
  • Start fights in 长弓,conserve until your commander commits to the fight, do not use it on range spikes
    • Your damage at range is minimal outside of but using it too early will only lead to padding the damage meter without doing useful damage - don't play to pad the meter
  • Use to land through projectile block
    • Save both charges to use with throughout fights
    • Since all your 长弓 skills other than are projectiles, avoid casting them into projectile blocks/reflects without the unblockable buff from
    • will rapidly consume the unblockable buff from ,avoid overlap when possible but always prioritize using off CD
  • Once your commander commits, use to fill your Adrenaline then activate
    • Spam until you get a chance to go into melee, then swap to 巨剑 and follow your priorities
      • Don't be afraid to go into 巨剑:a single ,disengage with then swap back to 长弓
  • Make sure to drop your target when casting otherwise it will aim towards the target instead of where your character is facing
    • A Lock Autotarget keybind can be useful for this
  • Your 长弓 skills other than all require facing the target at the end of the cast
